The Coffee

This beautiful & elegant natural processed micro-lot coffee, is brought to us by our friends at Cofinet. El Indio is actually a single variety community lot from an indigenous community, called the Nasa Wesx community. This community has groups in several Colombia regions, with this lot specifically coming from around the town of Gaitania in Tolima. This microlot is 100% Caturra. This variety originated in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a natural mutation of Red Bourbon. Caturra produces more coffee and is more resistant to plant diseases than Bourbon.

Suitable for all brewing methods, making both a juicy filter coffee and a wonderfully characterful espresso. Expect blackberry jam sweetness, tangerine acidity and notes of white wine.
